BKFC sets cruise fight card headlined by Stewart-Duran title rematch

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has unveiled a nine-fight card for its BKFSea Cruise from Miami to the Bahamas, set for Jan. 22-25, 2027. The trip will feature a featherweight world title rematch between champion Kai Stewart and Bryan Duran, plus fan events, celebrity guests and a live stream on BKFC+.

Why it matters: - BKFC is turning a cruise ship into a combat-sports event, giving the promotion a new live venue and a built-in fan experience across three days at sea. - The event expands BKFC's mix of fighting, meet-and-greets and branded activations, which could make the cruise a template for future immersive sports experiences.

The details: - Stewart enters at 10-0 and will meet Duran, who is 9-1-1, in a rivalry rematch. - The cruise will include photo and autograph sessions, fighter workouts, press conferences, weigh-ins, fan competitions, a private Nassau event and late-night celebrations. - BKFC said its cruise lineup includes Lorenzo Hunt, Christine Ferea, Leonard Perdomo, Ben Rothwell, Jessica Borga, Austin Trout, Luis Palomino, Johnny Garbarino, Taylor Starling, Bryce Henry, Howard Davis and Rambo Russo. - The undercard includes George Thorpe vs. Josh Kuhne in a welterweight bout. - Nathan Rivera will face Brandon Meneses in a featherweight fight. - Julio Perez will meet Gabriel Mota in the Ironweight Division. - Joey Gambino is scheduled to fight Matt Denning at featherweight. - Steve Townsel will return against Brady Meister in Ironweight action. - Gustavo Balart will face Justyn Martinez in a strawweight bout. - BKFC also listed welterweight fighter Famez and lightweight Cole Ferrell against opponents to be announced. - The full nine-fight card will stream internationally through BKFC+ for $7.99 per month on the BKFCApp.

Between the lines: - Rainbet is adding celebrity and athlete influencers to the cruise to help drive social content and viral moments. - Rainbet will also host a $50,000 poker tournament on Sunday, Jan. 24. - The partnership model shows BKFC is selling the cruise as more than a fight card, with brand activations, deck events, parties, hospitality and VIP packages. - Cabin pricing starts at $1,099 per person for interior cabins, based on double occupancy. - Higher-end options include balcony staterooms, penthouses and an Owner's Suite. - Guests can secure cabins with a deposit as low as $200. - BKFC is also offering a referral program for guests who bring friends aboard.

What's next: - BKFC is still selling cabins and partnership opportunities for the cruise. - Businesses interested in partnering can contact Pat Ryan, Head of Partnerships, at pryan@bkfc.com. - Fans can expect more onboard programming as the Jan. 22-25 voyage approaches.
